Privacy Policy
How GuildAudit handles Discord, audit, dashboard, support, and future billing data.
1. Who we are
GuildAudit is a Discord community health and server intelligence tool for Discord server owners and community managers. GuildAudit helps owners understand server activity, hidden retention drops, audit results, reports, history, plan status, bot activity, and dashboard information.
This Privacy Policy explains what data GuildAudit may collect or process when you use the website, add the Discord bot, use slash commands, access the dashboard, or contact support.
2. Data we may collect
GuildAudit collects or processes only the information needed to provide the product, operate the website, support server owners, and prepare future integrations. Depending on how you use GuildAudit, this may include the following categories.
- Discord-related data: Discord user ID, username or global display name if available, avatar if available, server or guild ID, server or guild name, channel IDs and channel names needed for configuration or audit context, role or permission information needed to determine owner or administrator access, bot installation status, and slash command usage related to GuildAudit.
- Audit and product data: audit score, diagnosis, main risk, next recommended action, audit history, report summaries, configuration settings, alert channel configuration, language or visibility settings, and plan or access status.
- Website and dashboard data: dashboard session data, selected server, basic usage events such as Add to Discord clicks, Join Support clicks, pricing views, dashboard clicks, product views, getting-started views, and similar product analytics events.
- Future billing data: if paid checkout opens later, GuildAudit may process limited billing metadata such as customer ID, subscription status, plan, invoice status, and payment status.
GuildAudit should not store full credit card numbers. If payments are implemented, payment details should be handled by Stripe or another payment provider.
3. Message content
GuildAudit is designed to measure community health signals without storing message content. The product is focused on warning signs around activity, return behavior, channel concentration, and timing patterns rather than private conversations.
Where needed to provide audits, GuildAudit may analyze metadata such as activity volume, authorship counts, channel activity, and timing patterns. Server owners should review the permissions shown by Discord before installing the bot.
4. How we use data
GuildAudit uses data to operate the product and help server owners understand what is happening in their communities.
- Provide server audits and first reads.
- Generate reports, summaries, and recommended next actions.
- Show dashboard information for servers a user owns or manages.
- Manage server configuration, visibility, language, and alert settings.
- Determine access or plan status.
- Improve product reliability, safety, and usability.
- Provide support and respond to deletion requests.
- Prevent abuse, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Data retention
GuildAudit keeps data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain audit history, support dashboard functionality, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, whether a server still uses GuildAudit, and whether the data is needed for security, abuse prevention, or support.
7. Data deletion requests
Users or server owners can request deletion of GuildAudit-related data by contacting GuildAudit through the support server.
Deletion requests may require enough information to verify the relevant Discord user or server. Some information may be retained when necessary for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.
8. User choices
- Server owners can remove the GuildAudit bot from their server.
- Server owners can review and change available configuration settings.
- Users can disconnect or end dashboard sessions where that functionality is available.
- Server owners can request deletion of GuildAudit-related data through support.
- Users can avoid using optional future paid features if they do not want billing metadata processed.
9. Security
GuildAudit uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No online service is perfectly secure, and GuildAudit cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, service interruption, or data loss will never occur.
If you believe GuildAudit data may be at risk, contact support promptly.
10. Children and minors
GuildAudit is intended for Discord users and communities that comply with Discord's own age requirements, Terms, and platform rules. GuildAudit is not intended to be used in a way that violates Discord's rules for minors or communities.
11. International users
GuildAudit may process data in countries where GuildAudit, hosting providers, Discord, future billing providers, or other service providers operate. By using GuildAudit, you understand that data may be processed outside your country or region.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
GuildAudit may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. When the policy changes, the updated date will be posted on this page. Continued use of GuildAudit after changes means the updated policy applies.
